I have been creating for many years. My Little Women series is comprised of introspective works that describe my human state. My imagery is contemporary, illustrative, and characterised by humour, mischief and a dark undercurrent . Thematically, I enjoy exploring the juxtaposition of innocence with evil, vulnerability with defiance. My Little Women are travellers on the journey of life. Symbolism underpins my work as animals and colours reveal the subconscious source of the artworks. Then there's Stella! Stella is a great friend of mine. She is everywoman in a Mona Lisa kind of way.
