The girl/woman swings lazily as she shares a knowing moment with a kookaburra, smug with the success of its hunt. Eerily, the bird\'s prey, the smiling snake, enjoys this three way exchange. It\'s as if they all know a secret yet share the same understanding. Set against an Australian dappled forrest of curling spotty gums, this work describes innocence and beauty and the inevitable harsh realities of nature.
